2009 Camp Testimonials
To Birdman and camp,
I wanted to say thank you to all that were involved in putting this camp
together. Birdman was a class act. As a mother of a 10yr. old boy it meant
the world to him to have Birdman take such an interest in the kids. I was
very impressed with the Birdman's heart and his ability to know something
special about each child. I also appreciated the time and energy Birdman
and all of the coaches put into the kids. My son will definitely do the
camp again next year. He has told all of his friends about it.

Thank you for putting together such a great camp. I really enjoyed that
you guys taught the kids the game and not just them play around. I also
really enjoyed watching Chris interact with the kids. Truly the best camp
so far.

THIS WAS A FANTASTIC CAMP! IT WAS AMAZING TO HAVE CHRIS INTERACT WITH THE
KIDS LIKE HE DID! IVE BEEN TO SEVERAL CAMPS AND THIS ONE WAS BY FAR THE
BEST "PRO" CAMP WE HAVE BEEN TO. WE HAVE TOLD MANY PEOPLE ABOUT IT AND WE

Jesse, Coaches & Bird,
Thank you so much for such a wonderful camp experience for Joey. He had
the best time and has not stopped talking about it. This camp was the best
by far and it was just absolutely perfect. People often think that with
first time camps something is bound to go wrong, but with this camp, from
registration, to check in and all throughout it was smooth and easy. I think
all of us parents enjoyed this camp as much if not more than our children.
You all did such a great job at making these kids have an unforgettable
camp. All the time with Bird, Steve working them out in the morning and
the coaches working on all the fundamentals needed to succeed. Your coaching
staff was remarkable, they went over so many different techniques and skills
but most importantly took their time with each camper to ensure they were
all getting that technique down with patience and ease. The photographer-Wow
what a great job he did on all of the pictures and slide show. Please share
our appreciation and thanks with all those who made this camp possible.
One more special thanks to Chris. Your presence at this camp interacting
with the kids daily truly made a difference not only in our children's lives
but also it went over really well with the parents too. You are an incredible
basketball player but most importantly you are a remarkable person with
such a big heart. We are glad you are here to stay.
We wish you all the best of luck this season and thank you for taking time
away from your families and summer vacations to host a GREAT!!! camp.

Well, I've been rattling off at work about what a superb experience Mitch
had at camp this week. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about all
of you. The athletic director at the high school where I work would like
to know if Mr. Andersen would ever consider establishing a relationship
with the local high school where kids from his neighborhood attend. We would
love to host any kind of event that Mr. Andersen would like... I get the
feeling that he enjoys talking with students, and we really have an exceptional
student body at Castle View High School in Castle Rock.

Hello Jesse,
We would like to extend a final thank you to you, your team and certainly
Chris for the camp this week! We'd like to specifically extend our thanks
for your willingness to not only accommodate our "out of the box" requests,
but for the helpfulness and most importantly, the kindness of everyone toward
us. We greatly appreciate it, it means a lot.
Congratulations on a truly successful camp! David & Myles plan to attend
more fully next summer at the 2nd Annual Birdman Camp!

I can't thank all of you enough for the experience my son had at camp this
week. You built his self-confidence in ways you can't measure but I will
see on a daily basis. He loved his coaches. He isn't one of the so-called
best players. But he gained a lot of skills from you that he wouldn't get
from our little local team. He's going to go back to his team and wow them.
He had never played before this spring and his teammates have played together
for a few years. They weren't the nicest to him but he played with heart
and tried to improve. From the bottom of my heart I thank you all for the
gifts you gave him this week.

THANK YOU so much for having the camp! My son (Josh) had a wonderful time!
He is still talking about it to his friends. I think next year you will
have to find a bigger place to have the camp because the number of kids
will triple!!! Other basketball camps Josh has attended were fine – but
he wasn’t very outgoing and stuck to my side any time that he could. The
Birdman Camp he wanted to leave the house as early as possible and once
we walked through the door he was gone playing. As a mother of a shy child
I can’t tell you how happy that made me! Josh’s confidence level in himself
has gone up amazingly in only a few days of camp. We both can’t wait for
next year!
